Two days to go!

My apologies for the lack of updates recently, as it's been all hands on deck for the seniors as we finish the sets. Both houses have been painted and are looking bright and colorful! Our snow scene looks great, the only part left to do is to create the sled. The Christmas decorations, including a small tree, have been gathered. And we have a mushroom thanks to Mrs. Gallo!

Frog and Toad look dapper in their costumes and the birds are ready to take flight in their tutus (see below).

Turtle and the lizards darn snazzy time-period outfits, while the mice are clad in metallic silver. Thank you to the costume crew and the parents for all of their hard work!

Our first full dress-rehearsal was a success, minus a few hiccups with scene changes and song cues. The audience laughed with Toad, empathized with Young Frog and shared in Snail's liberation. Tonight is our second dress rehearsal and I'm sure we will step it up!

Today we are focusing on specific numbers; fixing any missed notes or steps. We are also tidying up any parts of the set that are not finished.

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Fallu who has spent almost every free moment helping us and the pit run through the songs. We really appreciate it!!

Two days away from our first performance! AHHH!!!
